**Position Overview**
We are looking for a motivated and responsible driver who is familiar with all areas of Kuwait and can handle delivery tasks with care and efficiency. As a driver at Verdi Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering packages, food, and other goods promptly to our clients across Kuwait. Your role is vital in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Safe and Timely Deliveries:**
– Ensure the safe transportation of goods from the warehouse or partner locations to the customers’ addresses.
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
– Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
2. **Area Knowledge:**
– Have an in-depth knowledge of all areas in Kuwait, including main roads, back streets, and shortcuts.
– Utilize GPS or other navigation tools effectively to avoid delays and find the best routes.
3. **Vehicle Maintenance:**
– Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
– Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs to management promptly.
– Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
4. **Customer Interaction:**
– Interact with customers professionally and courteously during deliveries.
– Handle any customer queries or concerns with patience and clarity.
– Collect payment (if applicable) and provide receipts or invoices as required.
5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and condition of the delivered goods.
– Complete all required paperwork and reports at the end of each shift.
6. **Team Collaboration:**
– Work closely with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
– Communicate any delays or issues encountered during delivery promptly to the dispatch team.
7. **Adherence to Company Policies:**
– Follow all company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations.
– Ensure compliance with Verdi Delivery’s safety standards and guidelines.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
– **Residency:** Must have a valid 18 Visa (Transferable).
– **Driving License:** A valid Kuwaiti driving license is mandatory.
– **Experience:** Previous experience as a delivery driver in Kuwait is preferred.
– **Knowledge:** Thorough knowledge of Kuwait’s roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools.
– **Skills:** Good communication skills in English or Arabic. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
– **Physical Fitness:** Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying packages.
– **Age:** Candidates below the age of 35 are preferred.
