**Position Overview: Customer Delivery Driver**

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Delivery Drivers in Brighton. As the face of Waitrose & Partners, you will play a crucial role in delivering our high-quality products and exceptional service right to our customers’ doors. **Duties and Responsibilities**

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. You will also assist with various in-store tasks, such as stock control and cashiering. Your duties will include:

– Drive company vehicles to deliver groceries and other products to customers’ homes, providing a courteous and friendly service.

2. **Driving and Vehicle Maintenance:**

– Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate team.

3. **In-Store Support:**
– Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and managing inventory.
– Perform cashiering duties, including handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining a tidy and efficient checkout area.
– Help with general housekeeping tasks, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

4. **Health & Safety:**
– Maintain a strong awareness of health and safety standards, ensuring the safe handling and delivery of goods, particularly age-restricted items.
– Follow all company procedures related to lifting, carrying, and storing products, especially heavy items.

5. **Team Collaboration:**
– Work closely with other Partners to ensure smooth operations both in-store and on the road.
– Support colleagues in different departments, contributing to a cohesive and efficient work environment.
– Participate in team meetings and training sessions, sharing feedback and ideas for improvement.

**Required Essential Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**

To be considered for the role of Customer Delivery Driver, you must meet the following criteria:

– **Full Valid UK Manual Driving Licence:** You must hold a full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points. Part of the application process includes a licence check and a security check to confirm your suitability for the role.
– **Age Requirement:** You must be 18 years or older due to the handling and selling of age-restricted items.
– **Excellent Driving Skills:** You should possess excellent driving skills and a good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
– **Customer Service Skills:** Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting with customers daily.
